Nuckleheadz Bar & Grill
About This Spot
Stepping into Nuckleheadz Bar & Grill feels like discovering a well-kept local secret nestled beneath the unassuming facade of what looks like a quiet house. The entrance at the back leads you into a warmly lit space where a casual, unhurried energy hums beneath the friendly chatter and the occasional cheer from one of the many TVs scattered around. It’s a place where the everyday blends with familiar comfort, inviting you to unwind in an atmosphere that’s both relaxed and lively without ever feeling rushed.
Inside, playful touches nod to the bar’s unique beaver theme, giving the room a character that sparks curiosity and conversation. The bartenders are not just servers but part of the neighborhood fabric — approachable, attentive, and quick with a recommendation whether you’re settling in for a cold Tito’s Bloody Mary or craving a hearty bite after a long day. The menu reflects this same grounded spirit, offering dishes that feel like an inventive, satisfying take on classic bar and grill fare. Whether it’s a generous burger with unexpected toppings or crispy, well-loved comfort foods like tater tots and fried cheese, each plate arrives with a sense of uncomplicated pleasure.
There’s a quiet balance here between the warmth of friendly service and the buzz of casual patron camaraderie. This is the kind of spot where local stories are swapped over plates shared across tables, and where seating ranges from convivial bar stools to a more tucked-away dining corner that offers a bit of respite from the livelier bar area. It’s no surprise regulars come back not just for the food, but for the feeling of belonging this intimate, slightly quirky venue fosters.

This place is awesome. Great bloody Mary and food. Cool signs, t-shirts, flags, etc hanging up and plenty of TVs. Prices were really good and bartender was excellent.

My husband and I both had the code. I had the lightly breaded cod and my husband had the poor man's lobster. Both were excellent. The potato pancakes were also excellent. The service was awesome. Wonderful waitress with a great attitude. Very friendly. We will definitely be back soon.

Nice bar and grill. Beaver theme (go ahead and ask them why...lol). Friendly bartender and patrons. It's in the lower part of a building that looks like a house. Entrance is at back of building where most of the parking is.

Poor Man's Lobster was great. Service was quick and friendly. The dining was nice, away from the noisier bar area, but still a TV to watch the Draft.

Restraunt is in the lower level of exposed ranch. Upper door looks like it is a residence. Arrived about 5pm on Friday, and seated right away. Limited menu on Friday to accommodate their fish selections. I had poormans lobster which was seasoned nicely served with drawn butter, husband had cod fry, crispy anf fresh. Food takes longer than expected to arrive. Will order appetizers next time.

My friend and I drove from Houston for a big geocaching event. After eating the poutine burger, I’m willing to drive another 18 hours just to eat another one. So much yum! Pro tip: heed the waitress’s advice to not smash the burger; it will squirt hot cheese out

Stopped in tonight to watch the Badger game. Was greeted with a warm welcome and seated immediately. Our waitress Shirley was the best - we were never left waiting for anything, she was on it! We ordered a variety of food from soup (omg the Reuben soup…if you haven’t, you must) to nachos, and chicken strips/fries…and the beaver sauce, get the beaver sauce! Everything was incredible, 10/10 will be back.
